Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Bang Trim.

Most clients book a Bang Trim every three to six weeks depending on hair growth and desired length. Faster-growing or thick hair needs more frequent trims; fine or slow-growing hair can wait longer. We’ll advise a schedule tailored to you.

Yes — our stylists are trained to trim bangs across all textures, including straight, wavy, curly and coily. We adjust technique and cutting method for density and curl pattern to ensure a balanced, flattering fringe for your hair type.

A Bang Trim focuses only on the fringe and won’t alter the overall haircut when requested. If you want a new shape or layers, discuss this with your stylist — they’ll recommend whether a fuller haircut is necessary.

You don’t have to wash your hair, but clean, dry hair gives the most accurate trim. For curly or textured hair we often cut when dry to see natural fall. If you prefer, arrive freshly washed and styled.

Absolutely — we can blow-dry and lightly style your bangs as part of the appointment. Styling helps show the finished look and teaches you quick at-home techniques. Additional styling requests may incur a small extra charge.

Explain your preferred length, any problem areas like cowlicks or asymmetry, and how you usually wear your bangs. Mention past cuts and daily styling routine so the stylist can tailor the trim and give at-home maintenance tips.
